Pact is a habit and life-goals app with optional small-group accountability (“pods”) and an AI coach. This policy explains what we collect and why.
When you sign up we collect your email address, display name, and authentication identifiers via Firebase Authentication. We use these to create and secure your account.
We store content you choose to save in Cloud Firestore, including:
Optional photos you attach (log proof, List 100 proof) are stored in Firebase Storage. Logs you mark private stay off pod feeds; shared logs are visible to members of pods you share with.
If you grant notification permission we store an FCM push token so we can send coach digests, re-entry nudges, and pod-related alerts.
We use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and PostHog to understand feature usage, diagnose crashes, and improve the product. These services may collect device/app identifiers, session events, and coarse usage metrics. We do not sell personal information.
Purchases are processed by RevenueCat and the Google Play billing system. We receive entitlement status (e.g. Pact Pro active or not) so Pro features can unlock. Payment card details are handled by Google Play / RevenueCat, not stored by Pact itself.
Weekly digests and some coach messages are generated using Google’s Gemini API from summarized activity patterns (counts, categories, tags). We do not send your private notes wholesale into prompts when a compact summary is enough.
We share data with the processors above only to run the app. Pod-mates see content you explicitly share. We do not sell your data to advertisers.
Your account data remains while your account exists. You can sign out at any time. To request account or data deletion during Closed Testing, contact the developer through the Play Store listing; we will delete associated Firebase data within a reasonable period.
Pact is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
